I’ve written for many organisations (big, small and in-between) in the private, public and charity sectors. This has included NHS Trusts, universities, fitness companies, energy providers, IT companies, national charities such as Epilepsy Action, and smaller charities such as Wakefield District Sight Aid.
I’ve worked with small-business owners, including management and HR consultants, beauty therapists, artists and writers.
As well as copywriting, I also write journalism, fiction and creative nonfiction. My work has been published online and in print publications including, Stylist, Writing Magazine, Mslexia, The Yorkshire Post, Athletics Weekly, Ultra Fit and Great North Run magazine.
My first book, Cake, Anyone? Scenes from Everyday Life in Extraordinary Times, is out now.
I have an MA in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University, degrees in journalism (2001) and English literature (2017), and diplomas in marketing (CIM) and management (CMI).
